Term Time Opening

After a lovely summer providing play to the children, we are reopening for our term time sessions from

Tuesday 22nd September

We are currently planning to reopen safely. The playground will have to put measures in place to ensure safe opening measures are met.

There will be a limited number of children allowed on site for each play session

. Only 20 children are allowed per session during term time. The children will be in groups to ensure not more than 10 children are in the same area at any one time.

  • The playground is open Tuesday - Saturday during term time

  • All children will need to be registered  (this can be done via email). For children who did not register over the summer, please get a new registration form from the playground via email.

  • Sessions will be from 3.30 - 6pm Tuesday - Friday

  • Tuesday and Thursday will be for primary age children

  • Wednesday and Friday will be for secondary school children

  • If you have children in both age groups please let the playground know and we will discuss the best session to attend

  • Saturday sessions will be 12.30 - 4.30pm EXCEPT for the first Saturday of the month when there will be 2 sessions - 12.30 -2.30 and 3pm-5pm.

  • The first Saturday each month for the 12.30 session will be for children with a disability. Please contact the playground to book a place for your child.

  • On entering the playground, all children will need to wash their hands at a hand washing station at the gate and have their temperature taken

  • Children will be encouraged to  wash their hands after each activity

  • Only outside play will take place. The children will not be able to access the building unless to use the toilet

  • No food, drinks or toys from home will be allowed on the playground. We will provide drinks /snacks for the children in disposable cups

  • Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to register your child.

If your child has a cold, cough, runny nose or temperature they will not be allowed to enter the playground. Any child who is unwell will be sent home immediately.

We want every child to have a good time and enjoy our play sessions. Let's work together to keep all children and their families safe and well!

We hope to see you all soon!
