THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO HELP

EVERGREEN FUNDRAISING

As we are a registered charity, Evergreen is facilitated by grants and charitable donations.
We are always seeking funds to enable us to continue with the much-needed service we provide.

We would like to thank the following grant givers for their support:

LB Hackney - Young Hackney, Hackney Learning Trust, City Bridge Trust, Garfield Western Foundation, Trusthouse Charitable Foundation, Edward Gostling Foundation and Clarion Futures

You could also try to raise much-needed funds on our TotalGiving Page

DONATING TO EVERGREEN

  • Volunteering groups often have a budget to help with maintenance costs which is a much valued and needed fund for the playground.

  • Parents, outside organisations and any interested community members are welcomed to make a donation directly to the playground or through The Charity Aid Foundation. All donations go towards keeping the playground up and running.

You can donate to the playground through our Total Giving page.

WHERE YOUR SUPPORT GOES

We are open all year round providing free, supervised play to all children aged 5-15 years (up to 18 for young people with additional needs) regardless of ability, ethnicity, cultural and socioeconomic status.

We are situated in just under an acre of land where large adventure play equipment, a forest area, covered football area, nature garden and purpose-built play building with a sports hall, soft playroom, arts and crafts room and kitchen can be enjoyed by all the children.

Your support would help us provide the best service for the children coming to the playground.

With the monetary support from our supporters, we can assure that the playground is kept in the best condition and the playworkers are receiving a fair pay and pension. The funds are also required to pay for the playground equipment and materials that assure that children coming to the playground get the best experience.

HEAR FROM OUR SUPPORTERS

"We love working with Evergreen! ELBA and Evergreen have been working together for many years now, mainly through ELBA's Team Challenge programme. ELBA facilitates practical volunteering days at Evergreen where corporate volunteers help maintain the playground and keep it a safe and stimulating environment for the young people that use the space. Last year, ELBA completed its own Team Challenge at Evergreen; replacing the zipwire, painting areas of the building, and clearing the garden area.

Pat and Arnold do an amazing job of running Evergreen Adventure Playground. They successfully bring together children from all backgrounds in a completely inclusive environment. Evergreen faces many challenges, especially around funding to make sure the playground is fully staffed, however Pat and Arnold's passion and enthusiasm always shines through. The feedback from volunteers always praises Pat and Arnold and the work that they do."

-Ashley Rice, ELBA

CORPORATE SUPPORT

Corporate groups are welcome to contact the playground to arrange a team building day where volunteers come to the playground and help with maintenance during non face hours with the children.

The company you work for may have a charitable giving foundation, an employee giving scheme, a Charity of the Year or other social responsibility programme. If you think that your company or organisation can help The Evergreen Playground, through financial support, volunteering or other pro bono help, we'd love to hear from you. Please do contact evergreenplay@yahoo.co.uk or pass our details to your CSR or Community representative.
